Learn Guitar with Mediantone

Beginner/Intermediate Course for Ages 12–14

Welcome to Mediantone’s  Guitar Learning Group — a fun, step-by-step way for learners to start their musical journey.
 

Based at Ruskin Hall on Mondays and Fridays between 4:00 and 5:30 pm for 10 weeks.

 

🌟 What Students Will Learn

 

By the end of the term, your child will be able to:

 

1. Identify and tune the parts of a guitar confidently.

2. Play 6–8 open chords and switch between them smoothly.

3. Keep steady rhythm and strum along to simple songs.

4. Read guitar tablature (TAB) and play short melodies.

5. Perform a short piece combining chords and melody — earning a Mediantone Level 1 Certificate.
